I moved to Florida three years ago, and finding a dentist I truly liked has definitely been a challenge! I went to one dentist for a couple of years, and after every appointment, I told myself I wasn’t going back. The second dentist I tried didn’t even get a second chance. Well, they say third time’s a charm and it definitely was! After reading so many great reviews, I decided to give Silver Forest Dental a try, and I’m so glad I did. From the minute I walked through the door, the entire staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly. Alyssa, my hygienist, gave my teeth the best cleaning they’ve had since I moved to Florida, and Dr. Petrie was absolutely wonderful! I cannot recommend Silver Forest Dental enough. As someone who has had extensive dentistry in the past from numerous dentists I am always wary of searching for a new provider, however a move across states made it a priority. Silver Forest made me feel relaxed from my initial phone call discussing dental plans through to the friendly welcome from their very experienced team who immediately made me relaxed and at ease. My 17-years old daughter and I have been coming to Silver Forest Dental since the beginning of this year, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience! We see different doctors, and both of us absolutely love our dentists and hygienists. The office is beautiful and welcoming, and the entire team provides truly personalized care. Communication is always smooth and professional. They take the time to thoroughly explain every step and offer great advice on dental care. You genuinely feel cared for here. I recently moved to Florida and was looking for a new dentist, so I gave Silver Forest Dental a try. From the moment I walked in, everyone made me feel welcome and comfortable. The entire team was incredibly kind, professional, and took the time to explain everything thoroughly. I never felt rushed, and they were very attentive to my questions and concerns. Finding a new dental office can be stressful, but they made the experience easy and positive. I got the new patient special (exam and cleaning) and everything went very well. The hygienist, Julie, was very courteous, explained everything very clearly, and was thorough and gentle. I went to Silver Forest Dental for the first time, as my insurance was acceptable there. I don’t love going to the dentist office but today was actually fun and I look forward to going again in 6 months. I had all the X-rays and new patient’s thorough checkup with Julie and John, the Dentist. Everything went well for me and the cleaning work was great from my Hygienist, Julie. Everything from start to finish was great. Alicia, my dental hygienist, was pleasant and efficient. Dr. Petrie as always is easy-going and is the best! I am so glad I chose to go to Silver Forest Dental. I had cracked a back tooth and they were very understanding and informative. We created a dental plan that was manageable and affordable for me. I appreciated everyone’s courteous attitudes and professionalism and I really can’t recommend this dentist office enough! I called in for an emergency appointment for a cracked tooth… the front desk personnel got me an appointment the following day… I walked in to a beautiful facility with bright smiles greeting me.   I was taken in right away.. took X-rays and Dr Petrie went to work… he fixed my cracked tooth and made it look better than the original lol… he kept saying I wish I took a before and after picture.  He was great.. he explained everything before he started and explained after care as well… overall 10 outta 10 for me… I found my dentist office for life… thank you all to the front desk.., dental assistant and Dr Petrie… I can smile again.

I would recommend Silver Forest Dental not just for the amazing dental exam and plan by the dentist, but also for the state of the art equipment, clean facility, and the friendly and efficient staff. Also, it was no doubt the best cleaning I have ever had and I don’t want to age myself, but that is a lot of cleanings. My husband and I moved from out of state and we were searching for new medical and dental providers. I came across Silver Forest Dental and initially just made an appointment for my husband and when he had such an amazing experience, I went ahead and booked an appointment for myself for a cleaning, check up, and a chipped tooth. I have had the worst luck with dentists over the years because it seemed like every time I went to the dentist I needed some new advanced treatment costing thousands of dollars or just plain unnecessary treatment where sometimes I would go years without even going to the dentist. What a pleasure it was that the first dentist I chose here in St. John’s county, did not try to sell me a bunch of unnecessary procedures, one example is my husband, myself, and a girlfriend of mine all made cleaning appointments for the same day at a dental office, we all ended up with the same dentist and oddly enough all three of us grind our teeth and needed teeth guards🤔🤔 never before had any of us been told we grind our teeth by the previous umpteen dentists we all had seen over the years, yet what are the odds that all three of us would need to purchase mouth-guards, this was one visit of so many sheister providers I had visited. So thankful to have found Silver Forest Dental, and if you want to avoid a bad dental experience, this place should be at the top of your list.

Very pleased with the treatment and care I received at my initial cleaning appointment.  Christina is a gifted hygienist.  She is very gentle and highly skilled at her job.  I appreciated her insight and recommendations for how I can keep my teeth healthy.  My father-in-law was my dentist for most of my life so I have a difficult time with other dental offices meeting my expectations. Great people! Very kind. I was very nervous due to having bad dentist in the past, they listened. They helped me feel comfortable and explained everything in detail of what I needed. Being a military family, we’ve had to move 10 times so far. So that means having to find a new dentist every 1-3 years. Dr. Maples was attentive to my dental situation and shared his thoughts on how to resolve them.  At no time did I feel pressured.  It was a very relaxed and informational experience. Update: My 2nd 5 Star review (May 2026). Secret Sauce. Silver Forest Dental has the secret sauce. I can't explain it or find the words but y'all know what I mean. You know the secret sauce when you experience it. This entire crew has it; from the front desk ladies to every Hygienist (Julie is my favorite though) and Dr. Maples, this is a happy and productive team of professionals. When the team is happy, that makes happy customers. My theory is, they are SMALL and PERSONAL so it's more like a family or bunch of best friends all working for the same purpose. I hope they stay small, local and personal because this is what the American small business is all about. Thank you Silver Forest Dental for all you do and keep up the GREAT work! Friendly, informative, gentle, no-nonsense, dental care. Explained everything in detail in a way I could understand. Immediately made me feel like I'm in charge of my dental health and they are on my team to help me. Great experience, which is hard to feel about going to the dentist. I had a routine cleaning at Silver Forest Dental earlier this week and had an excellent experience from start to finish. Mia performed my cleaning and was absolutely wonderful, thorough, gentle, professional, and made the entire appointment feel easy and comfortable. I also want to specifically recognize Kristin, the office manager. She was kind, honest, helpful, extremely knowledgeable, and very accommodating. Her customer service truly stood out. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was clear, organized, and handled with care. I also met briefly with Dr. Maples, DMD, and even in a short amount of time he was thoughtful, professional, and helped me come up with a clear plan for my continued care at the practice. Overall, Silver Forest Dental feels like a place that genuinely cares about its patients. Highly recommend.
